Request for Council Action continued <br />Page 2 <br />November 19, 1999 <br />Funding for the Acquisition of the Property at 3790 Shoreline Drive <br />Staff Recommendation <br />It is staffs recommendation that the purchase of the property be funded 50% from the General Fund <br />and 50% from the Park Fund, and that the attached resolution be adopted to clarify that the purchase <br />is being funded from both funds to enable a portion of the property to be used for non-park use if the <br />Council so decides. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to adopt the attached resolution clarifying the funding of the purchase of the property at 3790 <br />Shoreline Drive, and to amend the 1999 General Fund and Park Fund budgets to reflect the <br />expenditure of $80,000 from each fimd.
