The Metropolitan <br />Council is considering funding the study as part of its planning grant program, which has assisted <br />cities in the update of their Comprehensive Plans. The Metropolitan Council has requested a <br />resolution from the City Council in support of the planning grant. A resolution is attached for <br />Council consideration. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to adopt the attached resolution in support of a planning grant from the Metropolitan Council <br />to offset the costs of the Long Lake/Orono Consolidation Study.
