A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUBDIYISION <br />OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT FOR PROPERTIES <br />LOCATED AT 4345 AND 4365 NORTH SHORE DRIVE; AND <br />GRANTING OF VARIANCES TO MUNICIPAL CODE <br />SECTION 10.24, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) <br />FILE NO. 2400 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing <br />under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter "City Council") <br />has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of land within <br />the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for a subdivision of <br />a lot line rearrangement by Mark Ploen and Arlette Ploen (hereinafter "the subdividers") of <br />properties legally described as: <br />Parcel A <br />The East Half of Lot 5, Block 18 "Saga Hill Revised, Hennepin County, Minnesota.", and that <br />part of Lot 6 said Block 18, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest comer of said Lot <br />6; thence Southerly along the Westerly line of said Lot 6 a distance of 138.50 feet; thence Easterly <br />parallel with the Northerly line of said Lot 6 a distance of 36.81 feet; thence Northerly to a point <br />on the Northerly line of said Lot 6 distant 47.00 feet Easterly of said Northwest comer of Lot 6; <br />thence Westerly along said Northerly line to the point of begiiming. and; <br />Parcel B <br />Lots6,7, and 8, Block 18, "Saga Hill Revised, Hennepin County, Minnesota", EXCEPT that part <br />of ’'•aid Lot 6 described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest comer of said Lot 6; thence <br />Southerly along the Westerly line of said Lot 6 a distance of 138.50 feet; thence Easterly parallel <br />with the Northerly line of said Lot 6 a distance of 36.81 feet; thence Northerly to a point on the <br />Northerly line of said Lot 6 distant 47.00 feet Easterly of said Northwest corner of Lot 6; thence <br />Westerly along said Northerly line tot he point of beginning. <br />to be rearranged by transferring a portion of Parcel B to Parcel A new legal descriptions as: <br />Parcel A <br />The East Half of Lot 5, Lot 6 and the West 17 feet of Lot 7, Block 18, "Saga Hill Revised, <br />Page 1 of 6
