i <br />4 <br />MINUTES OP A REGULAR MEETING HELn JULY 20, 1970 PaRa 2 <br />Mr. Sabor presented more datailod site <br />I plans showing existing buildings and the <br />'proposed church. It was noted that all <br />the toning requireaents were net. Then <br />the 12* easenent was studied, the plat <br />map showing that the lot to the south <br />servicofl by this easement could also be <br />serviced by Northern Avenue. Traffic <br />problems were next studied. Since Togo <br />Road is only a minor 20* street, Russell <br />asked if there would be two driveways to <br />assure orderly exiting of traffic and was <br />assured there would be. Parking was the <br />next item checked. Mr. Sabor assured <br />members the four to one ratio would be met. <br />It was also learned that the estimated <br />congregation would be 200 members. <br />Russell moved, Kullbcrg seconded, that the <br />permit and division be approved, providing <br />the church meets the building code and <br />the parking lot would bo surfaced to the <br />proper size and that on-street parking <br />would be prevented. *»otion. Ayes (S) - <br />Nays (0). <br />^Arnold Hegge and Charles Hayes represented <br />themselves to discuss the division of <br />Arnold Hegge, Parcel 4050, Soc. 29, <br />3465 Sixth Avenue North, dividing 7~l/2 <br />acres into three lots. Mr. Hayes stating <br />that he had no objection to the division and <br />that he would dedicate the necessary 25* <br />for the street. Members studied the <br />possibility of need for a thru strict in <br />the future to Ifayzata Boulevard. It was <br />shown that the street, placed whore it is <br />now would run into a swanpy area and that <br />the distance to Wayzata Boulevard was not <br />so great as to warrant a thru street. <br />Dom had reservations as to the overall <br />planning as some houses would be facing <br />back yards. He also expressed the opinion <br />that more stringent regulations bo placed <br />on street construction, citing examples <br />from the experience of other Villages. <br />Pisciission followed on public vs. private <br />streets. The status of the accessory <br />building on the south side lot was discussed. <br />Mr. Hegge stated he intended to build on <br />the lot ns soon as the division was <br />Completed, and that, in the event ho could <br />'not, he would mo‘o the garage to Hayes <br />property. <br />Kullbcrg moved, Pongoskc seconded, the <br />division be approved as shown.
