HIMUTBS OF A REGULAR MEETING HELD JULY 20. 1970 Tho application of Dr. David nunlap. Lot 1, Lydiard Park, 1595 Bohn's Point Road, was reviewed. The site plan showing the ponding area was studied. After reviewing the plat, Elliott noved, Russell seconded, that the division be disallowed due to the fact frontage did not meet the 140' requirements, and the wet lot did not itoot acreage requirements after wet area was separated from dry. Motion, Ayes (1) - Nays (0). Horn abstaining. Russell spoke on some of the steps taken in tho past by Hennepin Countv on acquisition of Big Island as a park. Members were unnninous in their opinion that the island should never be used for traffic and any bridge built thereto be for pedestrian use only. Kiillberg stated he was of the opinion that no further improvement of tho island should bo allowed that would in ’ucc lot sail 3 or further development. ^ ^Russell moved, Elliott seconded, that the ^ ^permit bo approved. ?lotion. Ayes (4) - i'Jays (1). Kullberg >Iay. Tho application for a setback variance for the tool shed of Lyell Halverson, Lot 7, part of Lot 8, Shorehills, Parcel 1450, 2605 Mapleridge Lane, was studied. Members concurred in their opinion that the setback should have been 35* instead of the 10' now used. Dorn moved, Kullberg seconded, that the variance be denied. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). Dongoske left meeting prior to this. Brian Hope's application for a garage side setback variance from 10' to 7', 66 Hackberry Hill, Lot 5, Block 3, llackberry Hill was studied.
