HIMUTBS OF A REGULAR MEETING HELD JULY 20. 1970 <br />Tho application of Dr. David nunlap. <br />Lot 1, Lydiard Park, 1595 Bohn's Point Road, <br />was reviewed. The site plan showing the <br />ponding area was studied. After reviewing <br />the plat, <br />Elliott noved, Russell seconded, that the <br />division be disallowed due to the fact <br />frontage did not meet the 140' requirements, <br />and the wet lot did not itoot acreage <br />requirements after wet area was separated <br />from dry. Motion, Ayes (1) - Nays (0). <br />Horn abstaining. <br />Russell spoke on some of the steps taken <br />in tho past by Hennepin Countv on acquisition <br />of Big Island as a park. Members were <br />unnninous in their opinion that the island <br />should never be used for traffic and any <br />bridge built thereto be for pedestrian <br />use only. Kiillberg stated he was of the <br />opinion that no further improvement of <br />tho island should bo allowed that would <br />in ’ucc lot sail 3 or further development. <br />^ ^Russell moved, Elliott seconded, that the <br />^ ^permit bo approved. ?lotion. Kullberg >Iay. <br />Tho application for a setback variance for <br />the tool shed of Lyell Halverson, Lot 7, <br />part of Lot 8, Shorehills, Parcel 1450, <br />2605 Mapleridge Lane, was studied. Members <br />concurred in their opinion that the setback <br />should have been 35* instead of the 10' <br />now used. <br />Dorn moved, Kullberg seconded, that the <br />variance be denied. Motion, Ayes (4) - <br />Nays (0). Dongoske left meeting prior <br />to this. <br />Brian Hope's application for a garage <br />side setback variance from 10' to 7', <br />66 Hackberry Hill, Lot 5, Block 3, <br />llackberry Hill was studied.
