He showed a site plan for tne <br />proposed station in the front and a small <br />shonping center in the rear. H ^stated lie <br />nad four parties interested in renting the <br />station if he could construct it. The <br />operation would consist of four pumps and <br />a small cosh office of aluminum and glass <br />and would only be for the ptirpose of pumping <br />gas--no auto service. Ti»e rest of the <br />immediate area would be blacktopped. <br />Further projections for the entire area <br />would be a small shopping center in the <br />rear consisting of a "Quick and Easy" type <br />of store and whatever other t;^e of service <br />he could find interested parties for. Gasch <br />was of the opinion that since this was a <br />aigiily traveled highway and only two lanes, <br />there could be hazards especially going east <br />and making* left turns, intu the site. Mr. <br />Wear stated that the shoulders are wide <br />enough for four lanes even thougii they are <br />not part of the highway itself. Hays stated <br />he thought there should be a traffic report <br />on the area from the Village Engineer and <br />an accident count-down by the Chief of Police. <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />2120 Wayzata Boulevard <br />Poisson moved, Southworth seconded, that <br />members meet with Mr. V/ear at tlie site Saturday <br />morning at 9:30 A. M. to view the site and <br />the Building Inspector get traffic and <br />accident counts for tiie area.
