CONTINUING LAND USE STUDY
Lot size and housing inventories need to be done and the on-site
system inspection program must be completed. A major area of concern
is still the sewer question. I strongly recommend that the City
Engineer be instructed to reopen the alternative waste control study.
Since active study was dropped in 1975, several new developments
have occured:
1. Completion of the 73-1 sewer project.
2. Relocation and actual construction of a revised
MWCC interceptor.
3. Completion of the HUD flood plain stu-y.
4. Revisions to the on-site code and institution of
the inspection program.
5. A major change in attitude of the EPA and PCA
regarding on-site waste treatment including
possible funding sources.
6. A staff change in Zoning and Engineering,
7. Significantly little new construction (except additions)
in the entire area,
I believe that we still have some Block Grant monies available which
have been earmarked for this study.
