There was no one <br />in the audience to address this application. <br />Goetten question the applicant as to the slab con <br />necting the old constnjction to the garage. Davis <br />stated that they were not certain as to what their <br />plans are for the slab. Mabusth advised that their <br />was no hardcover problems for the property. <br />JACK DAVIS <br />1345 Vine Place <br />Variance <br />#610 <br />Jabbour moved to approve the street setback variance <br />of 20 ft. for Jack Davis finding that their was an <br />existing foundation for the rebuilt garage that will <br />suit in less disturbance of the land or property and that <br />the garages location appears to be consistent with <br />the pattern of development of the surrounding neigh <br />borhood and subject to the following conditions; <br />1) Garage doors access away from the road side. <br />2) The building inspector review status of remaining <br />dlab with the final plans of the applicant. <br />Adams moved to second. Vote: Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />Mr. and Mrs. Weiss were present and there v;as no one <br />in the audience to address the application. Mrs. <br />Weiss noted that they did not have legal access <br />of<f S public road and that they wish to construct a <br />garage and create a new access off Shadywood Road. <br />Mabusth advised that if they were to meet the letter <br />of the code the proposed garage' would use up the <br />remainder of the front yard. She advised that <br />the County would never approve backing on to Shady- <br />wood Road and that at least 30 ft. of turnaround v/ou <br />■'have to be provided on the property. The side yard <br />of 10 ft. would have to be maintained for the new <br />garage because of the proximity of the accessory <br />buildings on the south property line. <br />Hammerel moved to grant a variance of 22 ft. for <br />the Donald Weiss application based on the size of <br />the lot and location of the house and subject to <br />following conditions; <br />1) Garage being located 30 ft. off of Shadyv/ood Road <br />rj.ght of way. <br />iO ft. off of side property line. <br />Access to the property approved by the Hennepin <br />County Highway Department. <br />Z) <br />3) <br />Goetten moved to second.
