IB* <br />Section 330:00 <br />Section 330:48. ^fctv PrecagUons. <br />A skilled swimracr shall be present at all times that residential swimming pools are <br />in use. <br />Every residential swimming pool shall be equipped with one or more throwing ring <br />buoys not more than 15 inches in diameter and ^ving 60 feet of 3/16 inch Manila <br />line attached, and one or more light but strong poles with blunted ends and not <br />less than twelve feet in length for making reach assist or rescues. <br />Diving board height above the pool water level shall be in accordance with Section <br />6, subsection (i). The Community Health Board may authorize greater diving <br />board heights when it is shown tl^t such increased height will provide an equally <br />safe diving board height-maximum pool depth ratio. <br />Section 330:50. Other De.sign and HQ-.inment. Any swimming pool, the design and equipment of <br />which incorporates features otlier than those set forth herein, shall be subject to review and <br />approval by llie Health Officer in accordance with acceptable standards and in conformance with <br />current public hcallli and safety practices. <br />Section 330:52. Ahove-Oround Swimming Pools. Above-ground swimming pools aie prohibited <br />except as a conditional use on specific application to the City Council for a conditional use pemiit. <br />If a permit is granted, the above-ground pool shall comply with all requirements stated herein. <br />Section 330:54. Penalties . Any person violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be <br />guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a fine not exceeding S700, or imprisonment for a period <br />not exceeding 90 days, witli costs of prosecution in either case to be added. <br />Section 330:56. Scoarabilitv. If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of <br />this Ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent <br />juiisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such <br />holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions hereof. <br />i
