As <br />requested at the last meeting, the applicant sub­ <br />mitted a copy of the plat indicating the location <br />of the existing buildings. <br />CONLEY BROOKS <br />1125 SPRING HILL ROAD <br />SUBDIVISION (PRELIMINAR <br />(#325) <br />Planning Commission discussed flowage and conserva­ <br />tion easement designation and access to the lake. <br />Mr. Muhich suggested addressing the conservation <br />easement with a condition for 6 ft. for an <br />extended dock to provide access to the lake. <br />Planning Commission reviewed cross easements for <br />use of driveway. <br />After a brief discussion, Hassel moved, Hurr <br />seconded, to recommend approval of the preliminary <br />plat as presented showing conservation easement <br />subject to the following: <br />(1) <br />(2) <br />(3) <br />(4) <br />(5) <br />Approval of drainage plans, drainage easements <br />and utility easements by City Engineer. <br />Approval of flowage and conservation easement <br />over wetlands. <br />The City be provided with a satisfactory cross <br />easement for use of the driveway. <br />Park dedication fee. <br />Additional 10 ft. right of way dedicated along <br />County Road 6 as required by the Highway <br />Department. <br />Mr. Herfurth be provided with a copy of the <br />language of easement and consider whether <br />some reservation should be made for access <br />dork to the lake at some future time. <br />Motion - Ayes (7), Nays (0). <br />Earl Sween, George Ronald and several other <br />members of the Association were present, along <br />with Gordy Coffin, land surveyor. <br />Earlier in the evening the Planning Commission <br />viewed a film on the mudcat method of dredging <br />proposed by the Association. Although the <br />Planning Commission appeared to be favorable <br />toward this method of dredging, they expressed <br />concern about the disposal of the spoils such <br />a short distance from the shoreline and the <br />effect this would have on the quality of water <br />in the lake. <br />WEST SHORE LAFAYETTE <br />BAY ASSOCIATION <br />2440 OLD BEACH ROAD <br />DREDGING OF CHANNEL & <br />DISPOSAL OF SPOILS IN <br />FRESHWATER BIOLOGICAL <br />MARSH <br />(#319) <br />The Commission was advised by the Association <br />that they were unable to obtain a map which <br />covers the area to coordinate with a soils <br />test. Mayor Van Nest was present and informed <br />the applicants that he had some extra copies <br />that they could use. <br />■
