m <br />9 <br />IV <br />MINUTES OF A PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON JULY 24, 1978 <br />PAGE 2 <br />Hassel announced this was the time and place for <br />a Public Information Meeting on the subdivision <br />request by Michael Plank. Alan Olson stated <br />the request and noted he had the Affidavit of <br />Publication and Certificate of Mailing. Mr. Plank <br />was present as well as a neighbor, Mr. Sawchiik. <br />Mr. Sawchiik had coinments regarding the drainage, <br />but did not object to the current proposal. <br />Alan Olson stated that both lots meet the zoning <br />requirements of the RR-IA zone and that staff <br />had no problems with this subdivision as proposed. <br />He also stated that a variance for the new building <br />site has been requested becc;:uu? of topographical <br />conditions. <br />MICHAEL PLANK <br />4145 Watertown Rd. <br />. MTG, <br />(#399) <br />7:45 P.M. - 8:10 P.M. <br />1:1 <br />After discussion, Hurr moved to defer action on <br />the variance requesting a more detailed survey <br />and plan for the proposed house. Motion was <br />seconded by Hannah and passed unanimously. <br />• j <br />% <br />Frahm moved to approve the subdivision contingent <br />upon payment of park dedication fee, conservation <br />and drainage easements, and dedication of Watertown <br />Road right of way. Motion seconded by Hannah. <br />Vote: Ayes (7), Nays (0). Motion passed unanimously. <br />Hassel announced this was the time and place for <br />a Public Information Meeting on this subdivision <br />request. Alan Olson stated he had the Affidavit <br />of Publication and Certificate of Mailing. <br />Mr. McCulley was present but no public were in <br />attendance. Alan Olson stated that all lots <br />meet the zoning requirements except for the <br />"existing" one-acre lot. All lots, including <br />this one-acre lot, average Just over five acres. <br />All new lots will have access by a new private <br />road with cul-de*^sac. Lots 1 and 2 will require <br />an easement declaration for the existing access. <br />There are septic problems with the existing rental <br />houses that must be resolved at once. McCulley <br />stated that he had talked with Mike Gaffron, the <br />Septic System Inspector, and was working on a <br />solution to the problem.
