VOTE; Ayes 6, Navs 0. <br />* • • <br />* « <br />(#11) REPORT OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVES <br />ATTENDING COUNCIL MEETINGS OF OCTOBER 28, 2002 AND NOVEMBER <br />12,2002 <br />October 28 - Fritzler reported that the Hope Chest for Breast Cancer application was <br />approved. As of the October 28 meeting the Professional Properties of Orono wetland <br />delineation issue was unresolved. <br />November 12, 2002 Chair Smith and Gaffron reported tjiat the MCWD had ruled tot the <br />wetland on the proposed Professional Properties of Orono site was an incidental wetland <br />and did not require additional mitigation. <br />Council liaison Muiphy reported that Council representatives had approached MnDOT <br />about the construction of the trail within their right-of-way casement. Although the City <br />feels this to be the best location, MnDOT has its reservations, however, agreed in principal <br />that if the highway were returned to the County, they would likely support this location. <br />Muiphy indicated that the City would still require easements from the applicants as a back <br />PAGE 35 of 28
