■J <br />USE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL <br />AGREEMENT <br />This Use of Law Enforcement Personnel Agreement (“Agreement”) is made by and <br />between the Metropolitan Airports Commission (“MAC”), 6040 28'*' Avenue South, <br />Minneapolis, Minnesota 55450 and_________________________________________ <br />_________^(“Agency”)_________________. <br />WHEREAS, MAC needs assistance in providing licensed law enforcement officers <br />(LEOs) at the passenger screening checkpoints; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Agency has indicated that it can provide LEOs to assist MAC. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the <br />parties agree as follows: <br />ARTICLE I <br />SERVICES <br />Agency agrees to provide uniformed LEOs to MAC for airport security duties. The duties <br />are primarily located at or around the passenger security screening checkpoints within (he <br />terminal buildings. The scheduling of the LEOs and the number of LEOs assigned to MAC <br />for airport security duties shall be determined by mutual agreement of the parties. <br />ARTICLE II <br />FEES AND CHARGES <br />MAC shall pay the Agency for the services rendered as agreed upon in Attachment A. MAC <br />shall not be responsible for any additional costs beyond the hourly amount indicated in <br />Attachment A. <br />If a change in fees on Attachment A is required, then Agency shall provide at least thirty (30) <br />days written notice to MAC. <br />ARTICLE III <br />CANCELLATION <br />This Agreement may be cancelled by either party without cause upon ten (10) days written <br />notice. The right to cancel is in addition to all other rights and remedies available to MAC <br />under this Agreement or otherwise by law. <br />ARTICLE rv <br />LIABILITY <br />1) For the purposes of the Minnesota Municipal Tort Liability Act (Minn Stat. 466), the <br />employees and officers of the Agency are deemed to be employees (as defined in Minn. <br />Stat. 466.01, subdivision 6) of MAC with respect to airport security services pursuant to <br />this Agreement.
