Box 86
Crystal Bay. MN 55323
Dear Chief Good:
This letter is to summarize our phone conversation on 08-14-02 regarding law
enforcement assistance that the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is
requesting from the Orono Police Department. The MAC will reimburse your
agency at the hourly rate of $55 per hour for each officer providing coverage at
the screening checkpoints at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. This
is the maximum hourly rate that the Federal Government will reimburse the MAC.
I am enclosing a "Use of Law Enforcement Personnel Agreement” for you to
consider and if it is satisfactory please sign and return it to me. Article II of the
agreement deals with fees and charges. You will need to create an attachment
A, indicating your fee of $55 per hour.
Thank you for your assistance. The coverage you are providing is vital to the
operation of the screening checkpoints at the airport. If you have any questions
please call me at 612-467-0716.
Sincerely.
Lynn Hesse
Airport Police Department
Cc: Lt.
