He has <br />served as a patrol officer, as a corporal, and most recently as an investigator. <br />Jim is familiar with all operations of the ptMice department, has excellent community relations, a <br />strong work ethic, and is always professional. He never fails to go the extra mile for others and <br />in fact has been described as being one of the most well respected officers on the department. <br />Jim has successfully completed the application and interview process for the position of sergeant, <br />I recommend that the Orono City Council promote Jim to the position of sergeant to fill the <br />position vacated by Jay Dembouski. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED; <br />Motion to promote Jim Comick to the position of sergeant, effective October 11,2004. <br />. .j
