Subsequently, the City <br />discovered this right-of-way was needed to enable access to homes along the roadway. The Council <br />recently approved the acquisition of a roadway easement along this roadway, by eminent domain, to <br />resolve the access problem. In reviewing the resolution in preparation for filing the eminent domain <br />action, the City Engineer suggested the easement should provide for drainage and utilities, as well as <br />a roadway.
