\ <br />A RESOLUTION TO DECLARE THAT THE <br />PART-TIME POSITION HELD BY <br />ANTHONY J. WHITE <br />IS THAT OF A POLICE OFFICER <br />WHEREAS, that Public Employees Retirement Association Police and Fire Fund excludes <br />part-time police officers unless a resolution is adopted by the governing body to authorize eligibility <br />for coverage in the Police and Fire Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Hennepin County, Minnesota that effective May 11, 2004, the position Anthony J. White holds is <br />that of a police officer as defined in Minnesota Statutes, Section 353.64, pursuant to which said <br />employee shall become a member of the Public Employees Retirement Association Police and Fire <br />Fund. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held May <br />10, 2004. <br />ATTEST:Barbara A.
