The Planning Commission should discuss <br />this issue and determine the amount, if any, of outdoor storage that should be allowed. <br />There m not grandfather rights for outdoor storage as it has never been aUowed in the B- <br />1 district and staff has found no indication that the existing outdoor storage is a legal use <br />by past City actions regarding this site. <br />The applicant would like to improve the main building and add considerable indoor <br />storage space to acconunodate his business. The expansion of the building will allow for <br />the primary business site to move from the smaller 33’x52 ’ building at the rear of the lot <br />Currently there are three buildings on this property; one-12’x 24 ’ open faced stcra«e <br />shed, one i3’x 53’ building located 4.5 ’ from the east property line, and the 33‘x 70 ’ <br />main building which is the basis for this proposal.
