A RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />CITY OF ORONO RIGHT-OF-WAY PLAT NO. 1 <br />FII.E NO. 2587 <br />WHEREAS, tlieCityofOrono is a municipal corporation organized and existing under <br />the laws of the Slate of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City ofOrono (hereinafter “City Council ”) has <br />adopted sulxlivision and land development regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of <br />land within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, Kris Rudd (hereinafter tlie "subdivider") on behalfofRichardR. Rudd, filed <br />an application with the City ofOrono (hereinafter "the City") requesting preliminary platting of a section of <br />public road eascmeiit located on property at 4575 Way/ata Boulevard. Tlie property is legallydcscribcd <br />as follows: <br />The West Halfof the West Halfofthe Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and the east <br />148.50 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter all in Section 30, Township 118, <br />Range 23, Hennepin County, Minnesota. <br />(hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, preliminary road plat approval was granted by the City Council on June 12, <br />2000 and documented per the findings and conditions of City Council Resolution No. 4479; and <br />WHEREAS, the clfeetive period of preliminary plat approval was extended via <br />Resolutions No. 4905 and 5134; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has approved the road plans and the grading, drainage aiul <br />erosion control plans; and <br />WHEREAS, the subdividers have completed or have agreed to complete all platting <br />requirements of the City ofOrono and have requested final road plat apjiroval. <br />Page I of3
