11 <br />223749v5 <br />within the compensatory time accumulation maximum, the employee may receive three (3) hours <br />of compensatory time at the straight time rate. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 16 UNIFORMS <br /> <br />The EMPLOYER will provide all City-required uniform articles and equipment. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 17 INJURY ON DUTY <br /> <br />Employees injured during the performance of their duties for the EMPLOYER and thereby <br />rendered unable to work for the EMPLOYER will be paid the difference between the employee's <br />regular pay and Worker's Compensation insurance payments for a period not to exceed ninety (90) <br />working days per injury, not charged to the employee's vacation, sick leave, or other accumulated <br />leave, or other accumulated paid benefits, after a three (3) working day initial waiting period per <br />injury. The three (3) day working day waiting period shall be charged to the employee's sick leave <br />account less Worker's Compensation insurance. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 18 WAGES <br /> <br />18.1 PLACEMENT INTO PAY SCHEDULE <br />The Employer has the discretion to place a new employee into the pay schedule at a step <br />other than the start step as the Employer deems appropriate. <br />18.2 2023 - 2025 WAGES <br />The following wage schedule shall be in effect for the period January 1, 2023 through December <br />31, 2025: <br />PATROL OFFICER 6 STEP <br /> START STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 STEP 4 STEP 5 STEP 6 <br />2023 $ 35.02 $ 37.08 $ 40.46 $ 41.88 $ 43.35 $ 44.65 $ 45.99 <br />2024 $ 36.07 $ 38.19 $ 41.67 $ 43.14 $ 44.65 $ 45.99 $ 47.37 <br />2025 $ 37.15 $ 39.34 $ 42.92 $ 44.43 $ 45.99 $ 47.37 $ 48.79 <br />
