Rental of second unit ceased in 1978. The rental <br />of the second unit cannot be permitted per Ord. 31.105. <br />3. Guest house use cannot be approved because lot <br />standards of the RR-IA Zoning District cannot be met. <br />4. State Statute prohibits the City from approving a <br />second residence on the property ~ municipalities cannot <br />issue use variances. Applicant must follow temporary erosion control method <br />setforth in City Engineer's letter dated 4-18-83. <br />2. Alteration of lakeshore yard shall be done in 2 stages. <br />(First Stage - foundation work ) Second Stage - Alteration <br />of lakeshore bank) the work to be completed within 24-48 <br />hour period. <br />Motion, Ayes (6) - Nays (1) McDonald Voting Nay <br />McDonald stated her reasons for voting nay are as follows: <br />1. A negative precedence setting for a 75' setback standard. <br />2. The foundation could be repaired without causing major <br />land alterations. <br />3. The 60 dump truck loads of earth to be removed are excessive. <br />4. No erosion problems of the bank, no obvious erosion problems <br />of the existing lakeshore bank. <br />5. You would nullify the Intent of the existing ordinance. <br />6. No visible hardships. <br />Member Adams moved.
