The purpose of the action item is to appoint a Community Service Officer. <br /> <br />2. Background / Summary. The Orono Police Department has an open position for Community <br />Service Officer. Julia Knapek has accepted the position of Community Service Officer. Hours may vary <br />due to attending college and will be a part-time status with the potential to be full time. <br /> <br />3. Staff Recommendation.
