The purpose of this action item is to gain approval for the disposal of unclaimed <br />property. <br />2.Background. The Orono Police Department has unclaimed property that has been turned in <br />to the department. The unclaimed property was found or abandoned within the city. The following <br />property has not been claimed. All of the property has been in the department’s possession for <br />more than 60 days. The police department considers the property as abandoned property and <br />would like to dispose through Excelsior Coin and Collectibles or similar business. <br />3.Project Scope. Disposal of unclaimed property. To include the following <br />19-3196 platinum 3 millimeter wedding band no stones <br />19-0292 14K, synthetic ruby and diamond ring. <br />14K amethyst and diamond ring. <br />14K synthetic emerald and diamond ring. <br />14K amethyst and diamond ring. <br />14k opal and pearl ring. <br />10K blue topaz and diamond ring. <br />10K peridot and diamond ring <br />10K color enhanced topaz <br />10K synthetic pink sapphire and synthetic ruby ring. <br />4.Staff Recommendation.
