The purpose of this action item is to award the North Shore Ravine Stabilization Project <br />(22-028). <br /> <br />2. Background. At the January 24th, 2022 City Council meeting the Council authorized the design and <br />engineering for the North Shore Ravine Stabilization Project. Staff and Bolton and Menk prepared <br />designs and solicited bids. <br /> <br />3. Scope of Work. Stabilization of the ravine in the lake access point / fire lane between 4731 and 4745 <br />North Shore Drive (CSAH 19). (Exhibit A) <br /> <br />4. Cost. The city received 7 bids (Exhibit B). The lowest bid was for $103,705.00 from Sunram <br />Construction. In addition to the construction cost, Bolton and Menk provided a proposal of NTE $ 11,280 <br />for construction oversight. Funding. Staff Recommendation. I recommend we award of the project to Sunram and approval of the <br />proposal from BMI. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Move to award the North Shore Ravine Stabilization project to Sunram Companies for $103,705.00 and <br />accept the proposal form BMI for Construction oversight for a fee not to exceed $11,280. <br /> <br />Exhibits <br />A.
