The City of Orono is an Equal Opportunity Employer <br />Desirable Qualifications <br />•Two (2) years of fleet maintenance and repair experience on light and heavy- <br />duty equipment <br />•Minnesota Commercial Class “A” Driver’s License and tanker endorsement. <br />•Minnesota Department of Public Safety Commercial Truck Inspector <br />•One-year of repair and maintenance experience working on construction <br />equipment <br />•Ability to perform welding, brazing and metal fabrication <br />•One-year of governmental fleet repair and maintenance experience <br />•Proficiency in asset management and/or customer service management software. <br />Physical Demands and Working Environment <br />This position operates in an interior environment, where employees are protected <br />from weather conditions, but not necessarily occasional temperature changes.
