AGREEMENT AND CONTRACT FOR <br />BUILDING INSPECTION SERVICES <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this lst day of <br />January 1978 , by and between the CITY OF ORONO, <br />Minnesota, and the CITY OF MINNETONKA BEACH„ Minnesota, is made <br />under and by virtue of Minnesota Statutes 1a71, Chapter 561, <br />Section 16 . 861 . <br />W I T N E S S E T H : <br />WHEREAS , the City of Minnetonka beach is desirous of <br />contracting with the City of Orono for the performance of the here- <br />inafter specified building inspection services within the City <br />of Minnetonka Beach, and <br />WHEREAS , the City of Orono is agreeable to render such <br />services on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, and <br />WHEREAS an agreement such as this is authorized under <br />and by virtue of the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 1971, <br />Chapter 561, Section 16 . 861, Subdivision 1 and 2 . <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Orono agrees that it will <br />provide building inspection services for the City of Minnetonka <br />Beach on the following terms and conditions: <br />1. Level of Building Official Services ( "services" ) . <br />The level of services rendered for the City of Minnetonka Beach <br />by the Orono Building Official shall be essentially the same as <br />the services rendered in the City of Orono, ex as ereinafter <br />stated . The basic services shall include preconstructi plan <br />review and on-site construction inspection as required for <br />enforcement and administration of the Minnesota State Building <br />cr <br />Code regulations SBC 101-202, 301-336 and 6001-6013 . The ser- <br />vices shall be performed by a certified building official of <br />the State of Minnesota or a building inspector working under <br />the direct supervision of the Orono Building Official .
