It <br />does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. <br /> Deductive Reasoning — Able to apply general rules to specific problems to produce <br />answers that make sense. <br /> Oral Comprehension — Able to listen to and understand information and ideas presented <br />through spoken words and sentences. <br /> Oral Expression — Able to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others <br />will understand. <br /> <br />Minimum Requirements <br /> High School Diploma or equivalent. <br /> Possession of MN Building Official Certificate. <br /> Seven (7) years of experience in building code administration, building inspection <br />standards, development and plan checking. <br /> Individual Septic Treatment System Inspector Certificate. <br /> Valid Minnesota driver’s license. <br /> <br />Desirable Qualifications <br /> Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a related field. <br /> Five (5) years of experience administering and inspecting on-site individual septic <br />treatment systems. <br /> Three (3) years of supervisory experience. <br /> <br />Physical Demands and Working Environment <br />See Physical and Environmental Addendum <br />
