1 <br /> <br /> <br /> CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA <br /> REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL <br />FOR <br /> ARCHITECTURAL / ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />FOR A PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY <br /> <br />1. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ARCHITECTURAL / ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> <br />The City of Orono is requesting proposals from architects that possess qualifications to provide full A/E <br />design and construction services for a proposed new Orono Public Works Facility. <br /> <br />2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />A. The proposed project includes construction of a Public Works Facility on approximately 6.75 <br />acres owned by the City of Orono at 365 Old Crystal Bay Road. The project will include a public works <br />facility with vehicle storage, vehicle maintenance and office space, with parking lots, bulk material <br />covered Storage building, a Cold Storage Shed, commodity Bins, access roads, site work and utilities. <br />The expected budget for this project is $ 6,000,000-$ 11,000,000. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS <br /> <br />A. All proposals should be sent and all questions and correspondence should be directed to the City of <br />Orono, Adam Edwards, City Engineer (952-249-4661) at 2750 Kelley Parkway, Orono, MN 55356. <br /> <br />B. All proposals must be received at the City offices no later than 4:30 p.m., Friday, April 23rd, 2021. <br />The copies shall be sealed and clearly identified with "Architectural and Engineering Services for a Public <br />Works Facility RFP” by the submittal deadline.
