July 20, 2020 page 33 <br />(4) Intersections shall be designed with a flat stopping area of at least 30 feet in a residential area 1391 <br />and 60 feet in a commercial or industrial area. The stopping area shall be designed to provide a 1392 <br />maximum grade of two percent. 1393 <br />(5) Where any street intersection will involve earth banks or existing vegetation inside any lot corner 1394 <br />that would create a traffic hazard by limiting visibility, the subdivider shall cut such ground and/or 1395 <br />vegetation (including trees) in connection with the grading of the right-of-way to the extent 1396 <br />deemed necessary by the city to provide an adequate sight distance. 1397 <br />(6) The crown of all streets, including intersections, shall be three percent or less. 1398 <br />(d) Typical section.
