SCP test result 3 . 5
tsf .
Test Pit 4 (West of Northwest Corner) - Surface Elevation Approximately
1015 feet.
0' - 3 ' - Brown clayey sand (possible fill) . SCP test
3 . 5 tsf .
3 ' - 4 .5' - Brown and gray mottled silty clay, trace sand.
SCP test result 4 . 0 tsf .
The contractor has scraped off the topsoil present within the building
pad. The base soil was not frozen, and consists of either existing fill
or naturally-occurring soil consisting of brown clayey sand/sandy clay.
I observed loaded tandem-axle trucks running over the subgrade soil,
indicating no deflection and approximately 1/2 inch to 1 inch of rutting.
Based on my observations, it is my opinion these soils are suitable for
slab support, or placement of fill for slab support .
GME CONSULTANTS,INC.
