We <br />are excited for the opportunity to be involved with improvements that promote the outdoors, <br />enhance the user experience and improve Long Lake's water quality. <br />Project Understanding <br />Based on our previous involvement in the master planning phase, we have a strong understanding <br />of the existing infrastructure, the wants and needs associated with the site and the corridor's major <br />issues. <br />Proposed Scope of Services (base fee) <br />We propose to complete the following East Long Lake Trail tasks: <br />1. Survey...................................................................................................................................................... $7,000 <br />Survey work to include the following items: <br />• Centerline and both sides of proposed trail within the corridor. <br />• Topographical survey work around the existing roadbed and existing right-of-way. Survey <br />work will also include survey work necessary to tie into the existing pavement at Summit <br />Park Beach and Spring Hill Road. <br />• Cursory reconnaissance for property irons along corridor. <br />• It is anticipated the project will use a combination of both existing topographic mapping <br />and new coordinates and elevations collected by the survey team. <br />2. Permitting Assistance..................................................................................................................... $15,550 <br />Bolton & Menk will work with City Staff to identify and complete the necessary permits. <br />To meet the grant program requirements, Long Lake Trail is required to provide the following <br />documentation: <br />• Certification Form <br />• MN DNR NHIS Request <br />• Evidence of water/wetlands requirements (minimally a wetland delineation & report is <br />needed at this time) <br />• Evidence of compliance with environmental review rules <br />• SHPO letter (SHPO will likely request a Phase I survey) <br />• Environmental assessment statement checklist form <br />H:\ORNO\2019 New Projects\Fee Estimate - East Long Lake Road Improvements.docx <br />Balton & Menk is an equal <br />
