AGENDA ITEM <br />Item No.: 8 Date: September 25, 2017 <br />Item Description: Disposal of Bicycles <br />Presenter: Correy Farniok Agenda Section: Consent Agenda <br />Police Chief <br />Purpose. <br />The Orono Police Department has 8 bicycles that have been turned in to the department. The bikes <br />were found or abandoned within the city. The following bicycles have not been claimed. All of <br />the bicycles and have been in the department's possession for more than 60 days. The police <br />department considers the bicycles as abandoned property and would like to dispose of them by <br />donating them to Mound True Value. Mound True Value will repair the bicycles and give them <br />to WeCan (Western Communities Action Network, Inc.). WeCan will give the bicycles to children <br />and young adults in the community that are in need of a bicycle.
