Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to gain approval to proceed with the replacement of the <br />Cygnet Place culvert. <br />2. Background. The culvert at Cygnet Place is rusted through at the bottom and needs to be replaced <br />before it collapses. <br />3. Project Scope. Replacement of the 15" Culvert at Cygnet Place. <br />4. Cost. The City received quotes for the culvert work, listed below. <br />Contractor <br />Quote <br />Park Construction <br />$ 33,378.50 <br />Widmer Construction <br />$ 42,308.00 <br />Minger Construction <br />$ 48,555.10 <br />5. Funding. This project will be funded through the Storm Water Enterprise Fund. The Capital <br />Improvement Plan (CIP) budgeted $76,500 for general storm sewer improvement projects in 2017. The <br />EOY 17 Fund balance is projected to be $1,453,394. <br />6. Staff Recommendation.
