4. Recommendation. If the Council's intent is to allow the drilling of new private wells within <br />the City's Drinking Water Supply Area (DWSMA) then the Code Section 14-142 should be <br />repealed as its sole purpose is to limit private well drilling within the DWSMA. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Decision to retain or repeal the Well Head Protection Ordinance; Code Section 14-142. <br />
