It is our <br />understanding that the scope of the project will also include repaving the post office parking lot and ftill <br />depth patches at various locations throughout the City. <br />Proposed Scope of EnLyineerint! Services <br />To assist the City with this improvement project, Bolton & Menk proposes the following scope of <br />services: <br />StaffDesjp_n Meetings — Our team will work with City staff to develop the scope of the project and to get <br />input on design details. The goal of these meetings is to ensure that the project is designed consistent <br />with City standards and that the City's maintenance practices and operations are considered throughout <br />the design process. <br />Detailed DesLy_n and Bidding — Once the final scope of the project is determined based on review of the <br />preliminary design, Bolton & Menk will prepare detailed plans and specifications for the project. This <br />work will include coordination with private property owners as needed. Upon authorization, the project <br />will be advertised for competitive bids. Bolton & Menk will administer the bidding process and will <br />ultimately make recommendations to the City Council about awarding the project. <br />Fee Estimate <br />Based on the scope of services described above, we propose a not -to -exceed fee of $38,795 to be billed on <br />an hourly basis.
