Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to gain approval to replace of the pressure washer <br />located at Public Works. <br />2. Background. The current system is from 1985 and is over 25 years old. The water pump is <br />currently leaking and needs repair. The current system is obsolete making all repairs ad hoc. The <br />venting along with the gas pressure valve does not meet OSHA standards. We have to constantly <br />relight the pilot light due to down drafting. <br />The system is used to clean public works fleet, other city vehicles and equipment. <br />3. Scope. The project scope is to procure and install a new pressure washer system in order to <br />maintain our fleet of equipment. <br />4. Cost.
