CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO <br />LOREN SCHOENZEIT <br />FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE <br />AS A MEMBER OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, Loren Schoenzeit has served this community with <br />distinction as a member of the Planning Commission since his appointment as an <br />alternative on October 8, 2007 and appointment as a regular member on March 9, <br />2009; and <br />WHEREAS, his 11 years of service have been marked by exemplary <br />dedication to the best interests of the community; and <br />WHEREAS, from 2011 to 2013 he served as Planning Commission <br />Chairperson; and <br />WHEREAS, he has earned the respect, admiration and high regard of <br />those with whom he has worked; and <br />WHEREAS, the performance of his duties and responsibilities as a <br />member of the Planning Commission has been characterized by excellent and <br />constructive contributions to the community. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Orono does hereby express its sincere appreciation and thanks to Loren <br />Schoenzeit for his distinguished service to the community and does also highly <br />commend him for the manner in which he has carried out his duties and <br />responsibilities. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council extends to Loren <br />their best wishes for continued success in his future endeavors. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting <br />held this 9th day of April, 2018. <br />ATTEST: <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />
