CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO <br />DENISE LESKINEN <br />FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE <br />AS A MEMBER OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, Denise Leskinen has served this community with distinction <br />as a member of the Planning Commission since her appointment on April 13, <br />2009; and <br />WHEREAS, her over 9 years of service have been marked by exemplary <br />dedication to the best interests of the community; and <br />WHEREAS, she served as the Planning Commission Vice Chairperson <br />from 2011 to 2013 when she was appointed to Planning Commission Chairperson <br />until 2016; and <br />WHEREAS, she has earned the respect, admiration, and high regard of <br />those with whom she has worked; and <br />WHEREAS, the performance of her duties and responsibilities as a <br />member of the Planning Commission has been characterized by thoughtful and <br />productive contributions to the community. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Orono does hereby express its sincere appreciation and thanks to Denise <br />Leskinen for her distinguished service to the community and does also highly <br />commend her for the manner in which she has carried out her duties and <br />responsibilities. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council extends to Denise <br />their best wishes for continued success in her future endeavors. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting <br />held this 9th day of April, 2018. <br />ATTEST: <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />
