CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO <br />JON SCHWINGLER <br />FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE <br />AS A MEMBER OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, Jon Schwingler has served this community with distinction <br />as a member of the Planning Commission since his appointment on October 8, <br />2007; and <br />WHEREAS, his 11 years of service have been marked by exemplary <br />dedication to the best interests of the community; and <br />WHEREAS, he has earned the respect, admiration, and high regard of <br />those with whom he has worked; and <br />WHEREAS, the performance of his duties and responsibilities as a <br />member of the Planning Commission has been characterized by thoughtful and <br />positive contributions to the community. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Orono does hereby express its sincere appreciation and thanks to Jon <br />Schwingler for his distinguished service to the community and does also highly <br />commend him for the manner in which he has carried out his duties and <br />responsibilities. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council extends to Jon <br />their best wishes for continued success in his fixture endeavors. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting <br />held this 9th day of April, 2018. <br />ATTEST: <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />
