Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to gain approval for the disposal of forfeited <br />vehicles. <br />2. Background. The Police Department has a forfeited vehicles that can be disposed. All <br />vehicles were seized and forfeited by the Orono Police Department from drivers that had <br />multiple violations for Driving While Intoxicated. The police department would recommend <br />vehicle be sent to an auto auction. <br />3. Project Scope. Disposal of a forfeited vehicle. <br />2007 Hyundai Santa Fe VIN#5NMSH73E77H114363 (Auto Auction) <br />4. Staff Recommendation. I recommend that the disposal of a forfeited vehicle. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to dispose of a forfeited vehicle.
