Royal Dossett <br /> 2795 Pheasant Road <br /> 21-117-23 32 0002 <br /> Mr. Dossett stated he had not been at the previous <br /> June lOth meeting. He felt that the $196,900 value <br /> placed on his property was too high. He stated his home <br /> has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and is on a lakeshore lot <br /> with about 150 feet of lakeshore. Property had been <br /> listed for sale but no one was interested in the property <br /> because of a bad floor plan. Mayor Van Nest stated <br /> that the City of Orono had requested an extention of <br /> time for the Board of Review but at this time was unsure <br /> of the status of the extension. Diayor suggested to the <br /> Board that they reconvene again June 30th at 7: 00 p.m. <br /> to consider Mr. Dossett' s case after the Board has had <br /> a chance to inspect the property. In order to preserve <br /> his right to appeal at the County Board Van Nest made <br /> a motion and Butler seconded to adopt the assessor' s <br /> valuation of $196 ,900 until the reconvened meetin_q of <br /> June 30 , 1982 , at 7 : 00 p.m. Motion Carried <br /> 10. Richard Hatch <br /> 1375 Park Drive <br /> 07-117-23 41 0079 <br /> Mr. Hatch is in the process of making improvements on <br /> his house and had talked on the phone with Monk today. <br /> Monk had suggested that he file an abatement. Motion <br /> by Van Nest seconded by Butler to accept the assessor' s <br /> valuation of $134,600 as the Board has no information <br /> on this property. Motion carried. <br /> Monk stated he would send the abatement to Mr. Hatch. <br /> 11. Jim Gothmann <br /> 2216 Shadywood Road <br /> 17-117-23 42 0004 <br /> Motion by Hurr seconded by Butler to accept the assessor' s <br /> value of $106,200. Motion carried. <br /> 12. Charles Miller <br /> 253 Charles Street <br /> 324 Westlake Street <br /> 05-117-23 23 0011 <br /> Mr. Miller stated this a 50 foot lakeshore lot on Stubbs <br /> Bay. There is a 20X20 foot cottage that has no water <br /> or sanitary facilities. Miller stated he had been told <br /> by Jean Mabusth, City Zoning Administrator that this <br /> was not a buildable lot. The access is by the neighbor' s <br /> driveway. Frahm stated he had viewed this pro�erty and <br /> felt that assessor' s value of $36,000 was too high. <br /> Motion by Frahm seconded by Butler to place the 1982 <br /> market value at $16,000. Motion carried. <br />
