Interior Trim: (a) Component JMaterial Base(at Hal and Entry) Hardwood w/profile to match existing-paint Door Casing(at cased opening) Hardwood w/profile to match existing-paint Base(at Orangery) Hardwood w/profile as on drawings-paint Window and Door Casing Rough sawn fir or cedar to match existing Window sill Hardwood w/profile as on drawings-paint Wood frames(below windows) Hardwood w/profile as on drawings-paint Flat Panels(below windows) 1/2" MDO plywood Wood soffits and facias Rough sawn fir or cedar to match existing Wood ceiling Tongue and groove rough sawn fir or cedar to match existing B. EXECUTION (This section applies to all finish carpentry.) 1. All wood must be kept clean,covered, properly ventilated, and supported above ground on level supports and prevented from warping. 2. When possible, nailing shall be done in concealed places and all nails in exposed work shall be set. 3. All tongue and groove boards shall be blind-nailed unless otherwise noted. 4. NO POWER NAILERS are to be used on finished work unless the surfaces are to be painted or stained and all nails have been properly set,filled, and sanded smooth. 5. Set and secure materials and components in place, plumb and level. 6. Verily that mechanical, electrical,and building items affecting this Section are placed and ready to receive this work. 7. Prime and paint surfaces of items or assemblies that will be in contact with cementitious materials.
