EXECUTION (This section applies to all finish carpentry.) <br /> 1. All wood must be kept clean,covered, properly ventilated, and supported above ground <br /> on level supports and prevented from warping. <br /> 2. When possible, nailing shall be done in concealed places and all nails in exposed work <br /> shall be set. <br /> 3. All tongue and groove boards shall be blind-nailed unless otherwise noted. <br /> 4. NO POWER NAILERS are to be used on finished work unless the surfaces are to be <br /> painted or stained and all nails have been properly set,filled, and sanded smooth. <br /> 5. Set and secure materials and components in place, plumb and level. <br /> 6. Verily that mechanical, electrical,and building items affecting this Section are placed and <br /> ready to receive this work. <br /> 7. Prime and paint surfaces of items or assemblies that will be in contact with cementitious <br /> materials. <br />
