Bie of <br /> his right to appeal tc the County Board on July 11 , <br /> 1983 , and that if he wanted to appear before them he <br /> should call 348-5�?ti to be placed on the agenda . <br /> After much discussion the Board agreed upon a total <br /> value on the 2 lots of $127 , 1�JPJ . Mction by Adams to <br /> place the 1983 market value on the ?_ lots at $127 , 1�� <br /> seconded by Frahm. Mction , Ayes ( 4) , Nays ( !�) . <br /> Frederic Riebel <br /> 44Q Stubbs Bay Road North <br /> 32-118-2� 13 HQ04 Mr . Riebel had been at the previous meeting but was not <br /> able to be heard by the Board . Mr . Riebel st�ted this <br /> property is la acres total , abcut 5 1/2 acres are <br /> wetlands . The house was built in 185� . The property <br /> is probably not divid�ble because cf the road frontage <br /> and the wetlands . Mr . Riebel had requested a <br /> revaluation of the property prior tc this meeting and <br /> was informed that the 1983 market value had been <br /> changed from $73 , 600 to $66 , �0D1 . Motion by Frahm <br /> seconded by Hammerel to direct the County Assessor ' s <br /> staff to review this property with the City Zcning <br /> Administrator to determine if this property could be <br /> subdivided and call the results of the reappraisal tc <br /> Dorothy Hallin who will report tc the Board at a <br /> reconvened meeting on June 7_� , 19�3 , at 7 : P��1 P. M. <br /> Motion , ( 4) , (G�) . <br /> N�ayor Butler announced to the audience that tMe Bcard would hear their comments <br /> and if the Board can do anything we will and if we can ' t we can ' t . Grocros stated , I received the ncti f ication that my <br /> homestead is still worth something over $145 , P1�0 . <br /> Having been through the whole course last year <br /> including the County Board of Equalizaticn and having <br /> experienced the frustration and futility of this <br /> exercise you may wonder why I am here . I keep <br /> concerning myself with the word equalization . I <br /> discovered last year the smaller your property is the <br /> more your gcing to be appraised for your lakeshore . I <br /> find this unfair . Mayor Butler explained that there <br /> is a fcrmula worked out with 1 building site at so much <br /> per front foot and then as you increase the width of the <br /> property along the lakeshcre the ratio goes down until <br /> you get to a point where you have 2 building sites and <br /> then it goes up. The Ccuncil explained to Mr . Grooms <br /> that he has riparian access to Lake Minnetonka . The <br /> F3oard reminded Mr .
