Bie had talked with Mr . Benson <br /> of the County Assessor ' s staff . Bie stated they had <br /> met cn Thursday of last week . Butler asked Hilk for <br /> the results of that revaluaticn . Hilk stated the <br /> value had been $67 , 2C70 on each parcel (tctal value <br /> $134 , 41�d) . The new recommendation is $65 , �d6 on each <br /> parcel (total value $13(� , (��d) . Bie stated the total <br /> cost of construction and the purchase price of the 2 <br /> lcts amounted to 588 , 737 . Checkiny the cost of <br /> construction materials I find they have increased an <br /> average of 5 . 45o per year . Applying 6 . 45� inflation <br /> per year I estimate the value should be S1f�7 , �138 . The <br /> Mayor instructed the Board that they have the power to <br /> reduce the 1983 market value over the recommendation <br /> of the County Assessor . Monk told the Board that the <br /> appraiser had placed on the property a cost approach <br /> value of $135 , 5�1� , income value of $132, 8�1(� and market <br /> approachof $127 , 18� on this total property . These 3 <br /> values were then correlated , considering all of these <br /> page 2 of 6 <br />
