Loma Linda Avenue Appearing before the Board were 3 couples that live on <br /> Loma Linda Avenue that have a neighborhood problem . <br /> Joan Hegg spoke for the group. She stated they have a <br /> neighbor who is using his property for commercial use , <br /> a body repair shop. We have called City hall and <br /> complained and have seen no action . He is still <br /> working on cars in his garage , even though he has <br /> cleaned up the outside , there are no longer cars stored <br /> outside in the yard and driveway . Mayor Butler <br /> explained that City hall is aware of_ the problem , but <br /> we do have to gc through legal steps that are clearly <br /> outlined in the state statutes and in the City zcning <br /> ccdes and it is a long process . I ask that you bare <br /> with us , your help could include keeping track of the <br /> level of traffic , signing a complaint , appearing in <br /> court if it gets to that . This is the kind cf <br /> cooperation we need from you to solve the problem . <br /> Mr . Warren Sand .ler stated that they wculd like to be <br /> kept informed of what is being done , we need to be <br /> informed . Mayor Butler stated she wculd call Mr . <br /> BensontheCity Administratortomorrow mcrning and ask <br /> him to cal]_ ycu and give you an outline cf what the <br /> neighborhood can do in order to aid the City in their <br /> effort tc get this resolved . <br /> R. In the past 2 years the tax has <br /> gone up S�Jo . Hilk stated this property is scheduled <br /> to be revalued for the 1984 assessment . Mr . Mcnk <br /> reminded Mr . Sandler that the Board does not have <br /> jurisdicticn on taxes only in market value . Butler <br /> suggested to Mr . Sandler that since he had appeared <br /> before the Local Board he has the right to appear <br /> before the Ccunty Board of Equalization . <br /> The following properties were reappraised at the request of the Board after the <br /> June lst Board of Review meeting . The Assessors reccmmended changes are as <br /> follows : <br /> James Ahlberg <br /> 95 Smith Avenue <br /> H2-117-23 21 H(�31 1983 market value changed from $1015 , 4aQ to 589 , 9F1C� . <br /> David Johnson <br /> 3195 Watertown Road <br /> H4-117-23 22 �PlH3 1�83 market value changed from $�5 , 900 to $59 , 900 . <br /> page 4 of 6 <br />
