Division O i Summary Of Work -Section O 1010 � <br /> 'The contractor shall conduct its operations so as to permit Owner and Owner's designated employees ' <br /> access to the existing building. Walks, driveways, entrances and hallways to be used by the public shall <br /> be maintained in a safe condition and shall be kept free of the Contractor's equipment,materials and <br /> debris. ' <br /> 1.12 CONTRACTOR'S SUPERVISION OF THEPROJECT <br /> Provide Project supervision per Paragraph 3.9 of the Supplementary Conditions. , <br /> 1.13 PROJECT MANAGER AND SUPERINTENDENT , <br /> 1.13.1 Refer to Pazagraph 3.9.1, 3.9.2 and 3.9.3 of the Supplementary Conditions. <br /> 1.14 SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS ' <br /> The Contractor shall not award any work to any Subcontractor without prior approval of the Owner <br /> and Architect. Approval will not be given unril the Contractor submits the List of Subcontractors and , <br /> major Suppliers containing such information as the Owner and Architect may re�uire concerning the <br /> proposed Subcontractor and the scope of the subcontract. (Also refer to Section 01300, Submittals.) <br /> 1.15 PROJECT MEETINGS ' <br /> Pre-Construction Meeting: After award of Contract, at a time designated by the Owner or the <br /> Architect, the Contractor, and the structural and electrical subcontractors shall attend a Pre- ' <br /> Construcrion Meeting. Procedures to be followed, critical work sequencing, submittals, coordination <br /> efforts, contract payments and similar matters will be reviewed <br /> Progress Meetings: During construction, periodic site meetings will be held with the Contractor, major ' <br /> Subcontractors, Owner, and Architect/Engineer. These meetings will be held weekly (unless job <br /> conditions do not warrant) and may be held more frequendy if job progress and needs indicate. <br /> Contractor and major Subcontractors shall have one or more responsible representatives in attendance. , <br /> Contractor shall record the "minutes" of the meeting, shall distribute the "minutes" as appropriate and <br /> shall include such minutes within the Project records. <br /> ' <br /> 1.16 MAINTAINING SERVICES AND FUNCTIONS <br /> It is essential that full Owner's services and functions are maintained throughout the construction ' <br /> period, with the minimum disturbance and disruption to the Owner's operations. The Contractor and <br /> Subcontractors shall be aware of these requirements and objectives. The Contractor shall conduct the <br /> work and develop his detailed schedule to meet these requirements and objectives. , <br /> After Owner's occupancy (full or partial) of the Project or any unit, stage, phase or area, any work <br /> remaining to be accomplished in the occupied spaces shall be done in cooperation with, and approval ' <br /> by the Owner and scheduled in advance with the Owner. In general, work in occupied areas shall be <br /> done when the space is not in use, such as after hours in public spaces when public use hours are over <br /> for the day, unless specifically approved by the Owner. Where necessary, overtime shall be used if the <br /> work cannot reasonably be accomplished during normal work periods, at no extra cost to the Owner.
