' <br /> Hennepin County Special Requirements Section 00800 - SUPPLEMENARY CONDITIONS <br /> ' 1/2/02 Edition <br /> Page 3 2 of 32 <br /> ' .2 When the Contract bid price covers the furnishing and placing of the material, the <br /> Owner will take possession of the surplus materials that have been purchased and <br /> shipped or deliveredto the Project,or will order the material returned to the supplier <br /> ' for credit, and will pay the Contractor the actual purchase price of the material plus <br /> transportation costs, to which will be added ten (10%) percent of the total thereof, <br /> ' and from which will be deducted any credits received by the Contractor for materials <br /> returned. <br /> .3 Materials that have been ordered but have not been consigned for shipment will be <br /> ' paid for upon delivery the same as materials in transit or delivered only when the <br /> supplier is unwilling to cancel or modify the order such as in the case of materials <br /> requiring special manufacture, fabrication or processing so as to be unsuitable for <br /> ' general use. <br /> 14.4.10 In no case will payment for surplus materials exceedthe Contract bid price for the materials <br /> ' complete in place. The Contractor shall fumish receipted invoices or an �davit showing <br /> the purchase price and transportation charges on materials to be taken over by the Owner. <br /> ' 14.4.11 Surplus materials that are taken over by the Owner shall be d�elivered to the storage sites <br /> designated by the Owner. <br /> ' 14.4.12 Except as above provided, no payment will be made to the Contractor for any materials that <br /> are not incorporated in the work.
