' <br /> Hennepin County Special Requirements Section 00800 - SUPPLEMENARY CONDITIONS <br /> ' 1/2/02 Edition <br /> Page 2 8 of 32 <br /> ' <br /> The contractor shall maintain and preserve, and shall require its subcontractors to maintain <br /> � and preserve, payrolls and basic records for a period of three years after completion of the <br /> project. <br /> ' 13.10.5 APPRENTICES <br /> Contractors employing apprentices under approved programs shall maintain written <br /> ' evidence of the registration of apprenticeship programs, the registration of the apprentices, <br /> and the ratios and wage rates prescribed in the applicable programs. <br /> , The following conditions apply to the use of apprentices on the project: <br /> .1 Apprentices will be permitted to work at less than the predetermined rate for the work <br /> ' they performed when they are employed pursuant to and individually registered in a <br /> bona fide apprenticeship program under the Division of Voluntary Apprenticeship of <br /> MN DOLI. <br /> ' .2 Every apprentice must be paid at not less than the rate specified in the registered <br /> program for the apprentice's level of progress, expressed as a percentage of the journey <br /> , worker hourly rate specified in the applicable Wage Determination. <br /> .3 Apprentices shall be paid fringe benefits in accordance with the provisions of the <br /> � apprenticeship program. If the apprenticeship program does not specify fringe <br /> benefits,apprentices must be paid the full amount of fringe benefits listed on the Wage <br /> Determmation for the applicable classification. <br /> ' .4 The allowable ratio of apprentices to journey workers on the job site in any craft <br /> classification shall not be greater than the ratio permitted to the contractor as to the <br /> entire work force under the registered program. In addition, any apprentice perfornung <br /> ' work on the job site in excess of the rario permitted under the registered program shall <br /> be paid not less than the applicable journey worker wage rate as indicated on the Wage <br /> ' Determination for the work actually performed. <br /> .5 In the event MN DOLI withdraws approval of an apprenticeship program, the <br /> contractor will no longer be permitted to utilize apprentices at less than the applicable <br /> ' predetermined rate for the work performed until an acceptable program is approved. <br /> 13.10.6 REQUIREDCONTRACT PROVISIONS <br /> ' These Labor Standards Provisions shall apply to all work whatsoever performed on the <br /> contract. <br /> ' The contractor shall insert in each of his/her/its subcontracts a11 terms, conditions and <br /> stipulations contained in these Labor Standards Provisions and also a clause requiring <br /> � Suppl Conds-28 <br /> HEIVIVEPINCOUIVTY Orono Salt Storaee <br /> March 22,2002 Project No.: 0031569 Contract No.: 0751R2 <br /> ' <br />
