Splice Adhesive and Qeaner Single-component butyl splicing adhesive and <br /> , solvent-based splice cleaner. <br /> 4. Splice Primer and Tape(Contractor option):Manufacturer's standard synthetic <br /> rubber polymer primer and 3-inch-(75-mm-)wide minimum,butyl splice tape <br /> ' with release film. <br /> 5. Miscellaneous Accessories: Provide lap sealant,water cutoff mastic,metal <br /> ' termination bars,metal battens,fasteners,pourable sealers,preformed cone <br /> and vent sheet Ilashings,preformed inside and outside corner sheet flashings, <br /> T-joint covers,in-seam sealants,termination reglets,and other accessories. <br /> ' C.Perlite Boazd Insulation:ASTM C 728, 1 inch thickness. <br /> 1. Provide preformed, tapered insulation boazds where indicated and saddles, <br /> crickets, cants, and edge strips for sloping to drain. Fabricate tapered insulation <br /> ' with slope of 1/4 inch per 12 inches(1:48),unless otherwise indicated. <br /> D. Aggregate Ballast:Smooth,washed,riverbed gravel or other acceptable smooth-faced stone <br /> � that will withstand weather exposure without significant deterioration, and the following <br /> size: <br /> 1. Size:ASTM D 448,Size 2,ranging in size from 11/2 to 21/2 inches(38 mm to 63 mm). <br /> ' PART 3. EXECUTION <br /> , 3.01 INSTALLATTON <br /> A.Complete terminations and base flashings and provide temporary seals to prevent water <br /> ' from entering completed sections of the roofing system at the end of the workday or when <br /> rain is forecast. Remove and discazd temporary seals before beginning work on adjoining <br /> roofing. <br /> ' B. Install roofing insulation according to roofing system manufacturers and insulation <br /> manufacturer's written instructions. Install insulation with long joints of insulation in a <br /> continuous straight line with end joints staggered between rows, abutting edges and ends <br /> � between boards.
