Lay sod as soon as possible after delivery to prevent deterioration. Sod within 72 <br /> , hours after final grading. <br /> B. Lay sod closely knit together with no open joints visible, and pieces not <br /> overlapped. Lay smooth and Ilush with adjoining grass areas, paving and top <br /> � surfaces of curbs. <br /> C. On slopes 2:1 and steeper, lay sod perpendiculaz to slope and secure every row <br /> with wooden pegs at maximum 2 feet on center. Drive pegs flush with soil <br /> � portion of sod. <br /> D. Immediately water sodded azeas after installaiion.Water in suf#icient amount to <br /> , saturate sod and upper 4 inches of soil. <br /> E. After sod and soil has dried sufficiendy to prevent damage, roll sodded areas to <br /> ' ensure good bond between sod and soil and to remove minor depressions and <br /> irregularities.
